The research on Satam cultural heritage seeks to preserve and promote Belitong’s indigenous communities’ traditional practices, beliefs, and crafts. This initiative involves documenting oral histories, rituals, and artistic traditions, ensuring their continuity in modern society. Through collaboration between youth, local elders, and scholars, the project aims to protect the rich cultural heritage of Belitong while fostering a deeper appreciation of the island’s unique identity.
